Your privacy is important to us. The SecretCEO Privacy Policy describes what data we collect from you, the purpose for collecting the data in conjunction with the SecretCEO website and Services, how we share, process, and manage your Personal Data, and your rights associated with your data.

This Privacy Policy applies to, (together, “SecretCEO” trading under the company House Up The Hill PTY LTD). It explains how we collect information from users, and how we use such information. Your use of SecretCEO constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

What data is being collected?

We collect Personal Data that you voluntarily provide us, when you register for the SecretCEO Newsletter, or sign up to SecretCEO. Personal Data may contain your name, email, contact information, your location, as well as other information you provide to us.

SecretCEO collects billing information when processing payment on such as your name, address, contact details and the last 4 digits of your credit card. Although you enter your credit card information on, we do not ever see or store those details on our servers. All credit card information is sent direct to Stripe (our payment gateway).

SecretCEO collects and stores passwords of your website when you first initially become a member. We do everything we can to protect these passwords. If they are ever stored electronically they are encrypted to industry standards. We also reserve the right to store passwords offline in a locked location.

Only specific SecretCEO employees or contractors who have an absolute specific need for a password will be granted access personally by one of the House Up The Hill PTY LTD directors.

We take every care within industry and practical standards to protect your passwords and your sensitive information that we store.

If there is ever a breach online or offline and we are compromised or unsure if passwords have been compromised. We will contact you immediately to inform you of a security breach and will inform you to change all passwords we had in our system.

The basis of this document is to say that we do our best to make sure your data is secure and if there is ever a situation where something goes wrong, we will do our best to help you get it sorted.

SecretCEO collects and stores data about you when you use SecretCEO’s messaging or email platform to communicate with us.

SecretCEO may place a “cookie” and on your computer when you visit a SecretCEO website. Whether a username and password is generated by our website, or created by you, these will almost always be connected with some other information related to or connected with you. Usernames and passwords, are kept private and not disclosed with any third parties. We may access this information to help provide you with the products or services for which you have paid and signed up for.

How SecretCEO uses your data:

When you supply us with personal information, such as through the subscription process, the information is kept confidential and is not provided to third parties. If you provide SecretCEO with personal information (such as your first name, and email address) through a pop-up on the website/s, you are added to our database of Actors from around the world! Your personal information is then held and used for the purpose for which the information is collected, which may include:

  • To send you updates about new posts on the blog, articles you might be interested in, events, our online courses, as well as general acting tips and advice.
  • To provide services to you, and to manage the services we provide you (i.e. SecretCEO membership correspondence and website management)
  • For internal business operation reasons, including the gathering of statistics.
  • Specific financial details are used solely to bill the user for the provision of services and products (i.e SecretCEO membership)
  • We need access to your website data to be access your website/hosting/domain/wordpress to make changes

Any information you supply us with, via email, Social Media or messaging will be kept confidential. Such information will not be disclosed, unless authorised by you or otherwise required by law.

Other Collection of Personal Information

When visiting our website, the IP address used to access our website may be logged along with the dates and times of access. This information is purely used to analyse trends, administer our website, track users movement, and gather broad demographic information for internal use such as statistical assessments and website improvement. Most importantly, any recorded IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Other information may be collected as well, which is rather typical of most websites. For instance, the source that referred you to our website is generally known. Likewise, your duration on our website. Other common data collected includes the type of operating system the computer you are using to access our website has. Similarly, the type of web browser is often noted. Again, this is common data collection, and helps ultimately produce a better end-user experience.
